The Alewife Transportation Management Association (TMA) is a 501(c4) non-profit organization.
Alewife Transportation Management Association is a partnership between businesses, developers, and residential buildings who join together to reduce traffic congestion and air pollution, as well as improve transportation options in the Alewife area.
The TMA addresses a variety of needs including: traditional commuting from the suburbs into Cambridge, reverse commuting--from Cambridge to suburban areas, and non-commuting trips around the area.
Funding for the TMA comes from its members and other sources.
Membership in Alewife TMA is open to any public or private business, educational institution, or residential complex in the Alewife service area. Contact the Alewife TMA for more information on membership.
When you join the Alewife TMA you become part of an organization that is working to improve the quality of life in the region where your employees work or your tenants live. The TMA can serve your business by helping you to recruit and retain valuable employees. By providing commuter planning and transportation options that reduce reliance on driving alone, you can save your employees money while reducing their stress level. Developers can attract tenants by offering valuable commuter services. Everyone benefits when traffic congestion from automobiles on the roadway is reduced and air quality is improved with less-polluting travel options.
