Melissa is a Transportation Demand Management (TDM) professional with over 20 years of experience in addressing and resolving transportation challenges at the individual, organizational, and regional levels. Before assuming her role as the Executive Director for the Alewife TMA, Melissa served as a regional manager for a national commuter transportation company. Subsequently, she held the position of Director of Transportation at two Boston based Transportation Management Associations. Driven by a passion to improve the day-to-day lives of commuters by reducing traffic congestion and GHG emissions, she works with her clients to increase the use of multi-modal transportation options. Her strategic approach to these challenges is rooted in a unique understanding of the relationship between transportation systems, organizational success, and employee well-being.
Melissa holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and an accelerated MBA from Lesley University. Her academic background, combined with years of practical experience allows her to navigate the complexities of transportation solutions effectively. Melissa’s dedication to fostering a smoother and more efficient transportation experience is reflected not only in the measurable improvements she brings to organizations but also in the positive impact she makes on the lives of commuters.

Tom is a Senior Associate at King Street Properties, the largest privately-held and locally-based owner of life science real estate in Greater Boston. He serves as the TMA's Chairman of the Board.

ButtonMichael is currently the Finance Director at Abt Associates. Prior to this, Michael was Abt's Sr. Manager of Treasury and Risk. Michael serves as the Alewife TMA's Treasurer.
David is the owner and manager of Last2 Development. He serves as the Alewife TMA's Secretary and Executive Vice President.
