The Alewife MBTA Station serves the Red Line and several bus routes. The station is located approximately 1.4 miles from West Cambridge Science Park (WCSP). There are several great alternative transportation options for getting to the site from the station. These include the Alewife TMA Shuttle, Bluebikes, or using a personal bike or walking.

Bluebikes is a great option for travelling between Alewife Station and WCSP. It will take approximate 10 minutes (1.4 miles) to ride to the site from the station. At Alewife Station, Bluebikes is located outside at Steel Place and at WCSP, the Bluebikes station is at corner of Concord Avenue and Spinelli Pl. Nemo Bike Roadside Assistance
The Alewife TMA has teamed up with Nemo to offer free roadside assistance for bikers. If you experience a maintenance issue while biking to or from work, school or running errands, you can rely on Nemo's expert bike mechanics to help anywhere within their service area from 7 AM. to 7 PM, Monday through Friday.
Road Side Services Covered
The Alewife TMA covers the cost for Nemo to be dispatched to your location to help with flat tires, chain troubles, brake issues, and other minor repairs. If you need a new inner tube, that's also included at no extra cost. If additional replacement parts or specialized repairs are required, Nemo may be able to provide those to you for an additional cost.

Walking
It is approximately a 1.4 mile/27-minute walk from Alewife Station to WCSP.
Biking
It will take you approximately 10 minutes (1.4 miles) to bike from Alewife to WCSP. There is plenty of bike parking at WCSP - 16 covered bike lockers as well as outdoor bike parking.
Bike Paths Serving the Alewife Area:
Located at Harvard Square, Harvard Station serves the MBTA's Red Line and MBTA buses. The station is approximately 2.5 miles from WCSP .
Two bus routes (#74 and # 78) serve Concord Ave @ Spinelli Pl, which is at the entrance of WCSP. It is approximately a 10 minute bus trip from Harvard Station to Concord Ave @ Spinelli and between the 2 bus lines generally leave every 15 minutes +/-.
Bluebikes is also available between Harvard Square and WCSP.

The Alewife TMA is a public/private partnership focused on reducing traffic congestion and improving air quality in the Alewife/Fresh Pond area. Since WCSP is a member of the Alewife TMA, employees working at park have access to the exclusive programs and services.
